I love a good mystery! Some of the most famous crimes of all time were tackled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, commonly known as the FBI. Mystery, romance and power hungry criminals are some of the leading characters in the true stories that make up a few of the most famous cases in FBI history – and have been turned into bestselling books!
Here are 3 of the most notorious criminal stories.
1. Kids & Crime: The image of a criminal usually doesn’t include a fresh-faced child or teenager, but some kids are among of the most infamous criminals chased by the FBI. The international criminal was known as the “Barefoot Bandit” was actually a 19 year-old named Colton Harris-Moore. The teenager was captured in 2010 after allegedly committing several crimes including trespassing and airplane theft. Harris-Moore’s adventures were immortalized in the 2012 book, “The Barefoot Bandit: The True Tale of Colton Harris-Moore, New American Outlaw,” by Bob Friel.
